Itinerary
Moulin de Chez Joyeux is located near a small village named Thiat. You'll find this typical French village about 400 kilometres to the south of Paris in the department Haute-Vienne. Besides the Creuse and the Corrèze, this is one of the three departments the Limousin has to offer.
Itinerary from the direction of Paris
Take the A10 in the direction of Nantes/Orléans. After that, continue your journey on the A71 in the direction of Vierzon and the A20 in the direction of Toulouse.
From the highway there are two ways to arrive at Moulin de Chez Joyeux: by a thoroughfare or by choosing a more sightseeing road. The thoroughfare is a tiny bit longer but we suggest you to take this route if you are tired or if you want the end of your journey to be more relaxed.
Sightseeing road
This is the road the most navigation systems probably will suggest. Take exit 21, Mouhet at the A20. If you take this road you can enjoy the beautiful and diverse countryside of the Limousin. The route will take about 50 minutes.

Thoroughfare
Take exit 23, La Souterraine, Guèret / Magnac Laval. The route is a tiny bit longer than the one from exit 21, but people usually find this route to be more relaxed (about 30 minutes after the highway). Villages between the highway and Thiat are Magnac-Laval (N145) and Le Dorat (D942).

Itinerary from the direction of Toulouse
Take the A20 in the direction of Limoges/Orléans. Take exit 23, La Souterraine, Guèret / Magnac Laval. Villages between the highway and Thiat are Magnac-Laval (N145) and Le Dorat (D942).

Itinerary from the direction of Clermont-Ferrand
Take the E11 in the direction of Montluçon. After that, continue your journey on the E62 in the direction of Guèret and the N145 to La Souterraine. Villages after La Souterraine are Magnac-Laval (N145) and Le Dorat (D942).
What if you have problems finding us?
Take in the centre of the village Thiat the D104 (direction Oradour St. Genest). After about 750 metres you'll see a white cross and a sign 'Moulin de Chez Joyeux' at the right side of the road. Turn to the right here and continue this road all the way down; after about 500 metres you will reach the gate of Moulin Joyeux.

Drive carefully!
One last note: our entrance road (the last 500 metres) has some small ditches for draining the rainwater. You'll encounter these ditches just after the road descends a bit more. So we strongly advise you to drive very carefully during this 'descent', then you can see these ditches (5 of them) clearly and you'll be fine.
