Fourth season on the way

Preparations for the upcoming season are in full swing. The garden and swimming pool are being worked on, and the rooms are being aired out. We already have a good number of reservations booked from mid-May to mid-September. Each year, it remains something to look forward to : welcoming both familiar and new guests. We are hoping for a wonderful summer filled with pleasant encounters. Although the situation in the world can make things feel uncertain, it makes us look forward even more to special moments together and we hope that everything will soon move in a positive direction.

We have already had some lovely days. Spring has truly arrived here: everything is suddenly fresh and green, and on some days the temperatures can really be called summery. It is wonderful to be spending more time outdoors again and to be able to take off our clothes. We have even taken a dip in the pool, although at 16 degrees it is still a bit on the chilly side to enjoy it for long. That led us to decide to install a heat pump for the pool. This way, we can enjoy it ourselves in the early spring and autumn, and of course it will also be extra comfortable for our guests in May and June.

In February and March, we enjoyed a wonderful trip through Vietnam and Laos. With our backpacks, we traveled from place to place, passing through impressive landscapes and vibrant cities. We immersed ourselves in the rich culture, and especially the food culture left a lasting impression. From small street stalls to charming local restaurants, we tasted delicious flavors everywhere. We have gathered plenty of inspiration, so there is a good chance that an Asian dish will appear on the menu every now and then this summer.

For now, we are continuing with the final preparations. We look forward to welcoming you again this summer and sharing beautiful moments, good food, and

a relaxed atmosphere together. There are still a few spots available, so reservations are definitely still possible. We hope to see you this summer at Moulin de chez Joyeux.
